A fish of purple and magenta appliqués: every scale is a different piece of fabric, plain, moiré or printed, hand sewn and ringed with a gold thread that draws the whole body. The fins bristle with dark beads, the eye is a golden button. Around it, a deep knife-worked blue where light catches as it does on water.
