A bald eagle's head cries out against a deep black, knife-worked into waves. The plumage is embroidered lock by lock, in thickness, pure white heightened with orange at the throat; the yellow beak opens mid-cry; below, white talons claw at the dark material. Thread against black, and the cry in between.
