A frangipani branch in relief on a painted sky, blue-tinged white like a calm morning. Each flower is needle embroidered, cream turning to yellow with a red-pointed heart, then varnished: the petals gleam, edged with a fine stem stitch. The cast shadows draw a second, paler branch that follows the light.
