A lotus mandala, white on white, eighty centimetres of symmetry: layered appliqué petals, organza, leather and textured fabrics, edged with rows of beads and silver thread, around a heart of gathered satin set like a jewel. Each crown repeats the previous one smaller, down to the center. The memory of a Singapore lotus, distilled into geometry.
