A disc of black leather crumpled like satin, where light slides without ever settling. Dozens of gold beads are sewn one by one into the folds, points of gold in a night of material. Around it, the canvas painted slate grey, knife-scored along the edges. A piece about black: what it absorbs, and what it agrees to give back.
