Water, nothing but water: the whole surface is embroidered with the Lunéville hook, row after row of chain stitch making the swell, from night blue to pale blue. At the center, a reflection of light spreads in flashes of cream, sea green and lavender. From afar, a photograph; up close, thousands of stitches. One of the studio's most patient pieces.
